Antalya Airport introduces Antalya in short films

After announcing this year as the year of ‘Aspendos’ in Antalya’s tourism, Fraport TAV Antalya Airport management has expanded the scope of their first short film project about the Aspendos Antique Theater, and began a second short film introducing the city of Antalya. In addition to the five-minute film, Fraport TAV Antalya Airport prepared a series of videos aiming to show Antalya isn’t solely a place for sun and sand but a destination with many additional activities.
Fraport TAV Antalya Airport General Manager Bilgihan Yilmaz has noted that the short films were filmed over a long period of time and have begun broadcasting in different locations domestically and can also be accessed and viewed on the official website of the airport, social media accounts, as well as YouTube, where the films have made it among the list of most viewed videos. Yilmaz continued:
“Imagine a door that opens to other doors that will sweep you off your feet. As you pass through, different colours, cultures, activities, the sea, the sand, the sun and the history will embrace you. Imagine a door that greets you with colourful emotions. Behind each door a different colour, a different emotion is hidden. Imagine Antalya, the city of freedom and fantasy, the city of history, art, literature, the city of activities and fun. We created a series of short films with these ideas. With Antalya Airport being the first door to open to all that I’ve described, we truly value our region’s tourism destination.”
“ANTALYA AIRPORT: GATEWAY TO YOUR DREAMS”
Fraport TAV Antalya Airport TAV General Manager Deniz Varol added that after the introductory short film ‘Antalya Airport: Gateway To Your Dreams,’ additional short films will be uploaded to continue to show Antalya’s highlights on social media along with other platforms and described the content of the videos in his own words, “Our mission is to show that Antalya isn’t just sun and sand, this city has so much more to offer like sports activities and cultural destinations. I believe this project is very valuable for Antalya.”
